Technology, multimedialità e rock’n’roll: these are the ingredients of "Sanremo Story. 60 years of songs in the exhibition "exhibition project conceived by Morgia, Events staged by the Group and organized by Vincenzo Russolillo Zerodiecieventi Mara De Assis Silva inaugurated on December 8 in the spaces above the Music Store of the Old Port of Genoa. The exhibition, which will be open to the public every day until 19 February 2011, simultaneously with the closing Edition 2011 Sanremo Festival, will celebrate sixty years of the most famous Italian music festival retracing a route through the songs, characters, places that have fueled, analyze the contexts, changes and evolution of the customs of our country.

Creator and artistic director of the exhibition is Morgia, director and lighting designer of international renown, who wanted to pay homage to the Festival as a work of art to discover and admire its numerous fragments, through curiosity and objects forgotten, within a path that will see visitors suspended between the recovery of tradition on one side and multimedia and other technology.

The exhibition will include memorabilia from the Museum Foundation Erio Tripodi Song, Morgia of which he is artistic director, Teche Rai movies, costumes provided by the artists who have plowed the field stage of the Ariston, but also many "goodies" provided by private collectors. Among the rarities are noteworthy memorabilia, the original records of the time, Covers, i pass, gli autografi e gli spartiti, anch’essi originali.

An authentic "pop under", as defined by Vincenzo Mollica in the preface of the book, that exposes conceptual frameworks in total freedom, without falling into the trap of easy caption or worse still in the dusty archives that are open (…) a movable feast that makes us lose track of time and stuns us with emotions, deleting the words past, present and future.
