ARTIficio SONORO – atelier internazionale:

An innovative formula for an unprecedented artistic-didactic project centred on the accordion with a focus on the concert accordion, with a network of directly related training and musical production activities, with the aim of enhancing the dissemination of the instrument together with the best teaching practices and creating a continuum between study, artistic creativity and professional activity, useful both for dissemination and for the development of skills and professionalism.

ARTIficio SONORO provides:

  • the training of highly specialised professional figures
  • research and innovation in the field of music
  • the awareness-raising, training and involvement of the younger generations
  • he design and realisation of record and digital productions
  • the creation of a network of partner institutions for the dissemination of the accordion in the educational and concert sectors

Continuing Professional Education Area

Among other things, IAC is a multidisciplinary training centre in the field of music. Through the ARTIFICIO SONORO ateliers, IAC activates vocational training paths in the music professions sector and in particular in the field of cultured music with and for accordion.

The participants in the ateliers activated in this area will be eligible, following a further selection, for transnational mobility in various European institutions, financed by the Erasmus+ Programme – Action KA1 – Scope VET – Project n° 2023-1-IT01-KA122-VET-000148608 – OID E10282245 – Title “Mobility for the Growth of Competences in the Music Sector” whose general objectives consist in acquiring new practices and collecting new ideas through interaction and observation with peers, experts or other professionals in the daily work at the host organisation.

The ateliers of the Continuing Vocational Training Area are aimed at participants without age limits from 18 years of age who are interested in updating, deepening and developing their professional skills in the areas of concert performance, composition, didactics and dissemination concerning music for and with concert accordion, with reference to the areas described below.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: CONCERT PERFORMANCE
Participants are concert performers who acquire/develop advanced knowledge regarding the self-training of all the skills of the instrumentalist, the creation of different and sometimes new repertoires, performance practices, and instrumental techniques.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: MUSIC PRODUCTION
Partecipants are:

  • a. composers who, through the production of new works and shared work with performers, develop advanced knowledge in the field of composing musical repertoires that include or are useful for including the concert accordion.
  • b. concert performers who collaborate with composers through in-progress experimentation of compositional work and the development of related performance practices.

Composers and performers may also jointly develop projects in the field of dissemination through concerts, conferences, record and digital production.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION: METHODOLOGY
Participants are concert performers and performers engaged in the development of methodologies useful for self-training and professional teaching in the areas of instrumental and musical skills, and/or professional teachers engaged in the aforementioned areas.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION: DISSEMINATION
Participants may be concert performers, composers, trainers or professionals in event management and music promotion, engaged in the development of skills in the aforementioned fields and useful for the dissemination and dissemination of new musical, artistic and didactic practices, but also of repertoires and more generally of wide-ranging cultural production in the fields of music.

INTERACTIONS
Due to the intrinsic nature of the musical content covered by each vocational training sector, the ateliers may connect interrelated content across all the above-mentioned sectors.

Concert Artists Area

MUSICAL PRODUCTION ATELIERS
aimed at musicians who have already completed their academic studies in the solo instrumental discipline, aged 35 or under.

2023/2024: solo accordion/accordion chamber music

It relies on the collaboration of an artistic director, tutor teachers or concert performers, and composers.
It consists of:

  • musical interpretation workshops and production of concert programmes or performances, including specially commissioned new music;

  • Selection for the realisation of: prize concerts, paid, scheduled by the network of partner concert institutions of ARTIficio SONORO;

  • recording and publication of digital album, by Ars Spoletium Publishing&Recording.

Concert Artist Area

ADVANCED TRAINING
MASTER CLASSES – WORKSHOPS – SEMINARS
aimed at musicians who have already completed their academic studies in the solo instrumental discipline, aged 35 or under.
2023/2024: solo accordion/chamber music with accordion
Lecturers of high international standing.

Young Area

YOUNG MUSICAL PRODUCTION ATELIER
aimed at musicians aged between 14 and 18.
2023/2024: solo accordion/chamber music with accordion

  • atelier of musical interpretation and production of concert programmes or performances;

  • selection for participation in dedicated concert festivals.

YOUNG MUSICAL MEETINGS
MASTER CLASSES – SEMINARS – WORKSHOPS – CONCERTS
aimed at musicians aged between 12 and 18.

Access: free; selection for certain concert contexts.

Trainers Area

ACCORDION METHODOLOGICAL ATELIER
In a modular structure, aimed at teachers, academic students, concert performers interested in the themes of self-education, training and research in the pedagogical-didactic field.
From basic training to concert performance, the Ateliers in the Trainers Area focus on various articulations of the Lecturer Patrizia Angeloni with the collaboration of other lecturers from various special-isations.

The project is based on the most modern psycho-pedagogical instances, developed by the author over the last thirty years through study, research and experimentation. The con-tents are recognised and used in various educational contexts, sometimes under different names, and documented with the publication of articles by organisations specialised in music education such as: ISME (International Society for Music Education), the Research and Experimentation Centre for Music Didactics; Società Italiana per l’Educazione Musi-cale; AIdSM – Italian Association of Music Schools.
The project is articulated and developed in progress and is conceived and conducted ex-clusively by Patrizia Angeloni, who holds the rights.

KOSMOS
